HELP!!!! Changing/aligning display

I just got a new HP and the display bleeds off the
sides. That is, the screen size appears too small for
how Windows XP wants to display it. E.G., the upper right
corner icon for closing out the window disappears off to
the right....icons on the desktop are 1/4 cutoff. Also,
icons are still too small even though I told Windows to
display large icons.

Your monitor should have controls on it to change the horizontal and
vertical size and position of the display.
