Hi can anyone give me any ideas why when i boot up with a cd or dvd in either
drive (Ricoh cd-r/rw MP7163a & Mashita DVD Rom) that they work fine but when
i try to play a disk when already running it is erroring and saying 'drive is
not accessible incorrect function'
if i put a disk in the r/w drive it opens but does not show anything on the
disk , also if i put a external usb drive in the machine and boot up with it
in , it will open and can use this but if i put in after boot it gives me the
same error message .
All these device are being shown in device manager as working ok , i was
wondering if it was either drivers or a motherboard issue?
