HELP! Can't delete offline files?

Hey,
Recently my computer has been running a bit strange, so I ran a full
Virus scan and spyware scan and found out something weird. Whenever I
attempt to scan the temporary internet files folder, my virus scanner
shuts down. I tried to delete it through internet explorer, which also
shuts down when I attempt to do it. I scanned all my processes and they
all seem fine unless im missing something. Please help because im
Certain this is some form virus but I can't find it. Thanks in advance.

Which brand / version of Antivirus does this have? and is it up-to-date with definitions?
If I were in your spot, and had all up-to-date AV, I'd start Windows in Safe mode (tapping F8 at bootup of pc), and run a full AV check.

You can run AV utilities in Safe mode (and later repeat in Normal mode). Simply make sure you download tools & updated definitions from a clean pc --- not the suspect machine.

Make very sure your system does not have malware.

Sysclean would be a good first run for virus check. Just be sure sure to also run other spyware / malware checks.
