Help and Support

When I select Help and Support in the start menu, nothing happens. The
hourglass appears for a millisecond then nothing. How can I
repair this short of reinstalling XP (Pro). I have tried running Doug
Knox's fixwinxphelp, I have tried running C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf but I
can't find the file on my Dell OS reinstallation CD. I have ran all the Reg
edits at Kelly's Korner. I have tried the Microsoft web site and I get in a
catch 22 with the site telling me how to get help and support. Any ideas??
Thanks for your help and support.

OK, I just reinstalled Help and Support on my Dell. How: Right clicked the file:

pchealth.inf

in the folder C:\Windows\INF

then I left clicked install. A box came up and said that it needed a specific file that
it couldn't find in the C:\I386 folder. I inserted the Dell plum colored OPERATING
SYSTEM CD, clicked the browse button in the box that said it couldn't find the needed
file, used the dropdown menu to change the path to D:\I386 (my CD ROM drive letter that
had that CD in it), and then proceeded. It found the file in that folder on the CD, and
finished the Help and Support install.
