The "Help and Support"' screen opens, but you can't go any further. Click
on anything and you get 'this screen can't be displayed' (I think - forgot
exactly which error message you get, but the end result is nada)

This has occurred after reformatting HD, and installing WinXP Upgrade (which
included SP2) over my previous Win98SE. Basically worked OK - couple of
minor glitches, but OK.

Chasing the 'Help and Support' thing, I found references to go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf - right click on install. When I do, I get the
message 'Windows cannot open' this file.

Few people need 'Help and Support' more than I do. How can I get it back??
thx

Dave

Hi Will -
Just printed four pages of fine print as you suggested. All perfectly
obvious to any computer layman! Good grief! Who comes up wih this stuff?

Seriously, it is interesting this glitch occurs installing a new, and legal,
CD on a clean HD. Another "Thanks Bill"

Thanks for that, tho. I'll go to work on it.

Much appreciated

Dave
