Help and Support Feature

I know this isn't a question about vista mail, but hopefully someone here
can guide me to someone who can help? Again....I'm helping my brother
mostly using remote assistance now and that is going rather well with the
help and support from here! However, now when he clicks on Start, then on
Help and Support, instead of getting the normal windows help page, he gets a
box popping up from COMPAC. He is using a HP computer and he doesn't know
what he did to make that change, but wants it to go back to normal and wants
the COMPAC help thing off of there. Can anyone help me figure out how to
get rid of that so the normal Help and Support screen comes up? Again,
thank you so much, and if I've asked the question in the wrong group, where
should I ask? Newsgroups are still very new to me.......

I would guess that this newsgroup would be better at offering you help for
that:

microsoft.public.windows.vista.networking_sharing

He might also try asking HP for help:

It is normal to get a branded Help & Support page when you buy
a HP, Sony or other big-name brand computer. Tell your brother
not to sweat it, it's only a cosmetic thing. When you search for help
from the branded page, the same information will come up as if you
were using the generic Microsoft help page.
