All of a sudden I cannot access the Help and Support centre through either
Windows Explorer/help/Help and Support Centre

or

Start/Help and Support.

What happens when you try? Do you get any error messages, or nothing
happens?

A couple of things to try. First, click Start, select Run and enter the
following:

helpctr -regserver

If that doesn't fix it, try the script that Doug Knox has made available at
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/fixwinxphelp.htm.

If that doesn't work, go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_h.htm and
scroll down to the section that starts Help and Support and follow the steps
there.

Thanks for the reply.

(When I was trying to start the H&S nothing was happenning.)

Kelly's step two worked!

I fancy what happenned was that I had installed Zone Alarm and blocked the
request to start H & S.

posting using Kelly's solution.
