I get an error 2d in the log file, I can't find a
description of this code anywhere. Can anyone give me a
reference site or a clue?

It is not surprising that you're not getting any replies to
your post. To attract responses, observe these points:

- Write a meaningful Subject line. "Help 3rd time posting this"
is extremely unlikely to attract the attention of the right expert.
The Subject line is supposed to give a one-line description of
your problem.

- Provide an exact description of your problem. "error 2d in the
log file" fails to describe your problem. Which log file? What
application? What is the exact message? When do you get
it? Since when has this been a problem?

I note that your previous posts had a somewhat better
Subject line, but neither of them specified which backup
program you're using. There are dozens of them around!

Lastly: I suspect that you're using a proprietary backup
program. Have you consulted the FAQ web page of the
suppplier of that backup program?
