Hearing Midi Music on a site

Does anyone know WHY with some IE 6.0 browsers a user can
hear midi music on a website or a Yahoo group, while
others can't hear anything? Is there a way that the
browser has to be configured? Please reply to my email:

ie ,tools,advanced,mutimedia, see that play sounds in
webpages is checked.,apply.
