Header only on page one

I have inserted a header on page one of section 3 in my document and I want
the information in the header to appear on all of the pages in that section
but it is only appearing on the first page.

What do I have to do to make the header appear on all pages in this section?

I have written reports like this many times and this has never happed before.

How did you create the header? If you did it by inserting a section
break, you should be able to duplicate the header by enabling the
"Same As Previous" ("Link to Previous" in some versions) button on the
Header/Footer toolbar.

Alternatively, if "Different first page" is enabled in File | Page
Setup, Layout tab, do the following:

1. Cut the contents of the first page header.

2. Turn off the "Different first page" setting.

3. Paste the contents of the clipboard into the main header.
