PC I have Win2KPro and on one more I have the wonderful WinME OS.

A need to offload a large inventory of old,
ie. non Vista compliant, hardware components
would be a good motive for keeping XP alive.

And you think he would risk pissing off Microsoft for that? I doubt
it. You guys are just net nutter conspiracy theorists. Here's a better
conspiracy theory that needs investigating. When the Xbox 360 first
came out some people complained about the lousy 3 month warranty. Some
twat Microsoft rep claimed that was the standard warranty on
electronics equipment. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together
kinows this is a lie and 1 year is the standard. Assuming your
customers are too stpuid to know better is a dangerous game. Now
Microsft has extended the warrantees to 3 years. If 3 months is the
stabndaard then why did they extend it to 1 year and then 3 years?
Microsoft plays the same dangerous game with Vista and assumes we are
too stupid to know better. All empires have their rise and fall, don't
forget it.

no expectation or requirement that anybody at Microsoft will see your
post.
When someone from Microsoft posts here, they do so on their own time.
Even if someone at Microsoft reads your post, there is no assurance
that person works for the Product Group related to your message or
will even attempt to forward it..

If you have a message and you want to be sure the proper department at
Microsoft gets it, this is not the place.
