I'd say he's pretty important as he heads the fourth largest PC maker in the
world. Certainly his opinion is more important than yours is. Larger ones
like Dell have also begun offering alternatives to Vista, like XP and
Ubuntu on their new products. That's saying a lot too. Why can't you just
accept the fact that Vista is a dud? Maybe you're embarrassed that you've
spent the money you have on this p.o.s.? And if you got it for free because
you're a most valuable player, then maybe you're just a Vista fanboy?

I've noticed that the new nVidia cards are coming with Linux drivers on
the CDs. A sign of the times.

And what motives are those?

A need to offload a large inventory of old,
ie. non Vista compliant, hardware components
would be a good motive for keeping XP alive.

Dell have never stopped supplying XP on their range of business oriented
machines.. same goes for HP..

Well then ignore it. Your top posting doesn't contribute anything to it, you
Wintard.

"Gladiator" cried...
I don't think Microsoft would like you responding to their customers
in this manner.

You do realize that sarcastic replies like this make you appear to be a
troll, right? ;-)

Take you post elsewhere. Go slither over to the Ubuntu users group where
they don't know what they are doing with that toy OS.

Again, sigh, the good folks over at the Ubuntu newsgroup have already
heard about Ubuntu. Most Windows users haven't. I do try and help and
get help with Ubuntu over there. I am here to spread the good news about
Ubuntu. If you don't like it, tough titties.

No. You try to be a PITA - and you succeed.

Earth to Alias - Your target audience isn't in the VISTA.GENERAL group. But
I guess the Ubuntu marketing department hasn't figured that one out yet.
Don't worry, you'll find employment somewhere. Somebody in Spain might need
your talents!

Neither you, nor anyone else, has yet to **prove** to me that Linux is
better.

It is an option - and that is all it is.
