I installed a second HDD, but windows xp wouldn't
recognize it. I changed the setting on both drives to
cable select, still windows wouldn't show the new drive.
Although the bios recognize the new drive windows
would'nt. Please advise me of a solution.
Thank you, Edward

Sorry one unanswered post went away.

Have you formatted your HD? Bear in mind that a NTFS formatting can see any
other formatting (FAT and FAT32), but not vice-versa. As an example, if your
present HD is formatted FAT32, it cannot see another disk formatted NTFS.

If this doesn't help and your formattings are such that Windows should see
the new HD, give more info about your system, like the way you connected the
HD's. Also, have you set the jumpers properly?
