HD for MSI 6183

Good day,
Just upgraded the bios on that mobo (V.1.7) that says it can, now, handle
40 gig harddrives.
Does anyone know if it's possible to stick into it a 60 gig (or above)
hard drive.
Just would like to know before buying as i don't want to use any HD
utility except Windows 98 SE.
