Having trouble putting music into a powerpoint

I'm making a powerpoint for an anniversary and it's over 100 slides, so I
want to add music to make it more interesting. When I click Insert, Movies
and Sounds, Play CD audio track, the music comes on, but only for that slide.
I've tried to click the loop till end option and it still won't play
throughout the entire show. if anyone could help, id greatly appreciate it.
