When I go to install it from add/remove programs I get a copy error, trying
to copy files from the i386 directory, the files are there but for some
reason they are not recognized. Can someone please give me some advice on how
to overcome this copy error.
thanks

Go to Webthang.uk.co and it will explain this. You are right you should buy
XP Pro. I did this 2 days ago and am still trying to get IIS enabled. After
spending 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft help in India I was told they
could answer my question for $248 by phone or $99 by email. This despite my
arguments about just spending $200 for the upgrade.

So, I'm trying to search through the available information.

On Webthang they explain just how to install it with XPPro but it doesnt'
work. The default web site shows as being 'stopped' and it won't restart.
You also have to install something called .Net Framework, which I've done.

I suspect that I've got some other minor setting wrong somewhere. Perhaps
the Microsoft spy fighter is interfering or maybe my firewall.

I'll keep you posted.
