Having problem PC going to sleep

I have a new PC and because I crunch my PC is usually kept on for 24/7. I have in the control panel switched to Never switch off but after about 20 minuits it goes to sleep. If you tap a key on the keyboard it jumps into life same happens if you move the mouse. Any suggestions out there will be gratefully recieved.

Did you switch off Hibernate as well?

I usually disable ALL power control options including Monitor, Ethernet, everything

it could be your monitor, or, something else ...

have a look at this link, yes I know it's Vista but the process is the same for Win7

if you are using Win 8, you are on your own.

It's also easy to manage in Win 8. (Didn't want hubby's PC falling asleep, so that was one of the first changes I made for him. )

Go to Control Panel > All control panel items > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings:

Turn off the display: Never

Put the computer to sleep: Never
