address and uses a router to connect to the internet. I have D-link DI 624

Look at this small page that details how to do that using the XP ICF or a Linksys BEFSR41 router as
examples. Modify as needed for your situation.

An alternative is to setup a VPN tunnel and access the machines via the VPN connection.

Do you know if there is a limit to the number of Redirected TCP's you can
have?

Also, does the fact that my Terminal Services server currently resides on
TCP 3389?

THANKS! MB

In the case of the Linksys router, at least the BEFSR41 I had, you could only forward a maximum of
ten (10) ports with Port Forwarding and five (5) with UPnP Forwarding. I really don't know if the
ICF has a limit or not.

I can tell you that my router (Microsoft MN-500) has a limit of 50
range forwards....
