I don't know about Bellsouth, but Yahoo and Hotmail are webmail and not
supported in Windows Mail. If you are reading the Bellsouth online then
it is webmail, too. Webmail is not supported by Windows Mail. My
understanding is that the exceptions are Yahoo Premium (paid) and GMail
which can give you POP access.

The only way to no longer have Windows Mail as your primary
email program is to install a different email program.

Hi,

Just FYI, Hotmail Plus (also paid) also comes with POP and SMTP but they are
using live.com as the server now.

Hi,

As many have advised, different accounts (even with the same provider) may
have different settings depending on if that account is paid or simply
given.

I'd suggest you to contact their customers service to find out what type of
account do you have, and for the type of account, does it come with POP/IMAP
and SMTP.

You can simply tell them that you wish to set up your email account in
Windows Mail and would like some information, and most likely, they will
tell you if or not you can do it and then provide information when
applicable.

Good luck.
