I have Sony Vaio GRX 520p and found new hardware wizard
keeps on finding already existing hardware. It seems there
exists four different monitors and two of many devices. I
guess thats a porblem.


Anyway to solve it?
 
It's not really a problem, but if you want to clear the duplications try
this:
Boot into Safe Mode, go to Device Manager and remove ALL entries where there
are duplicates. (for example, remove all four monitors). Reboot, XP will
install the devices, and you should now have only one listing for each
device.
