Hardware profile selector not visible at boot time

When I boot my Windows 2000 machine, my video screen goes blank
just before the hardware profile selector comes up, and I have to remember
in which order I've put my various hardware profiles. How can I fix this and
make
the hardware profile selection screen visible at boot time?

Control Panel|System|Hardware|Hardware Profiles then radio button for
"Wait........"
