I loaded vista hp. everything went well with load. I did't save any settings.
Everything seems to be fine except no speakers, no printer. On both the
drivers are the most up-to-date and working. The speakers are working, but
not in the monitor. The printing works all the way to the printer, then
nothing. I re-loaded the original software for both printer and monitor,
nothing. "no audio output device is installed" is the sad refrain when all
other info points to everything is installed (printer and monitor), and
properly so. Please help, thanks....c52

Which make and model of printer? Why load the original software for the
printer.... it's not for Vista, it's probably for XP. Go to the
manufacturer's website and check the printer is actually compaitible with
Vista, get the drivers, disconnect and uninstall the printer, reboot the PC,
run the software you just downloaded and don't connect the printer to the PC
until the software tells you to do so. Standard procedure.

As for the audio, get the right drivers from the audio manufacturer's
website or the PC manufacturer's website if it's onboard.
