harddrive renaming

ok silly problem but its got me i have a external harddrive which i use
mainly for downloading from peer to peer programs.. somehow i accidentally
erased the name of the harddrive which was i believe FREECOM (F now its
calling itself FREE(G and my p2p progs wont recognise it i could change my
p2p progs paths to FREE but that would mean loosing a heck of a lot of half
loaded stuff.ive highlighted the FREE text and tried to change it with rename
to FREE(F or (F) or HDD(F but no matter what i do it tells me THE
VOLUME LABEL IS TO LONG OR CONTAINS INVALID CHARACTERS ... can anybody help
please

Hello,

Start > Run > Diskmgmt.msc > OK > right-click drive G at the bottom area and
select change drive letter > change to F
