Hello, I have the same problem as Jack my hard drive is even smaller around
12gb I found John John's comments very helpful. I have purchased an external
hard drive 320gb is it possible to have just my operating system on my
original hard drive and use my external for everything else and if so how do
I transfer everything over and make my operating system look for stuff on the
external. I do hope some one can help. Thank you.
 
Leave the OS on the 12 GB drive. Install the 320 as a slave. Boot and
install your appsall over again. Don't forget to uninstall your apps frist
off the c: drive.
