Hard Drive won't start up

Maybe the wrong group, but.. Recently when I start my computer, my hard
drive won't spin up. The motherboard sings to me and then gives the message
of hard drive failure. If I try to restart a few times it will eventually
spin up and all runs well. It's a Maxtor 120gb that I've had for about 10
months. It makes no noises out of the ordinary while it's running. The
power supply is a 350w if that matters. I'm running one hard drive, an ATI
video card, one CD-RW drive, floppy, usual stuff. Anyone know what could be
causing this?
