What is causing hard drive noise? Sounds as if spinning; slight buzzing noise.

Well, there are many reasons for this noise:
- Unseated HDD drive can make this Noise
- A HDD Drive going Bad make this Noise
- Cooling Fan can make this Noise, so differentiate between them to know
what the Noise belong to.

Solution try to Reseat the HDD and check the HDD health by downloading the
Diagnostic Tools for it from the HDD manufacturer to your HDD specs.
Unzip and make a bootable CD/DVD and Run at Start Up to test.

I am sure the noise is there to tell you to back up the data before you do
anything else and I mean NOW.
