Hard drive icons do not open drives

Recently I noticed that my D drive icon had changed in My Computer. When I left click it activates an auto start prgram that starts to install a forms program I had downloaded last month. The drive still operates fine and if I right click and explore the drive shows up fine with all components. Earlier today the same thing happened with the C drive only left clicking opens the search screen. Clicking "properties " on both drives shows a highlighted "Auto start" on the "D" drive and a highlighted "Search" on the "C" drive. Any ideas what is happening

What program?

Anyway it sounds like you have been hijacked. You might be able to hack the
registry and restore things. You might be able to run various clean-up
programs. But you might want to consider backing up your personal data and
re-installing windows to be sure of a clean system.
