Hey,
Here's my problem:
I decided to switch my Master hard drive with my friends hard drive becasue
he had more space. I mad his on master and mine slave. but when i booted up i
get a blue screen that flashes and then the computer reboots! i then decided
to install a fresh copy of windows xp on my friends hard drive so i could
write this up! i tried Check Disk...tried registry fix....i can acsess my
hard drive through my friends hard drive but not through my hardrive but i
still get the flash of the blue screen and the computer reboots.
I was thinking of making a backup of my hard drive and try to repair my
windows.
xp using windows xp cd.

Any suggestions are appriciated!

Thank You!

Unless your friend has a computer EXACTLY like yours, his hard drive sill NOT
work on your computer. Any difference in hardware, including such stuff as
video driver file revision levels and even USB driver revision levels will
cause blue screens.

Even with computers identical in hardware will probably fail due to
inconsistencies in the way the machines were set up.

Switch your hard drives around again.
