If there is a better group to post this question, let me know.


I have a client who wants to protect their data (financial) in case
their notebooks are ever stolen. Does anyone have any experience with
this issue? Is hard drive encryption the accepted way to accomplish
this task? If so, do I simply buy software that will encrypt their
data?
