drive unbootable after crash. reinstalled winxp on new drive and put old
drive in as second. have about 100GB of data in files that had been password
protected by windows. Folder names still visible on drive in explorer but
windows states that they are empty and I am unable to open them. Drive space
still states that the disk has the 100GB of data on it. Any ideas about how
I can access these files?
HELP - please!

How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.
