Hang on startup after intalling XP sp3

After installing sp3, my laptop hangs with the messge "Setting up
personalized settings for Microsoft Outlook Express 6" on the screen.

I can run the computer in Safe Mode, but the the wireless network doesn't
work.

Any suggestions on how to get past the "Personalized Settings" roadblock?

My next alternative might be a full XP re-install....

TIA.

Hmm. It appears the wireless is working -- the computer can connect to
another computer attached to the router -- but it can't connect to the
internet.
I don't recall that being a limitation of Safe Mode...

While I cannot diagnose your problem, I thought you would be interested to
know that this "should not" be a limitation of Safe Mode after installing
SP3.

I just booted my laptop (with a wireless connection to my desktop) in "Safe
Mode With Networking". I was able to connect to the internet with no
problems.
