Had Office '07 but no longer. I now cannot Open files in emails

I had office 2007 trial but no longer. I now am unable to Open Files sent to
me in an email. It asks me to FIND instead of Open post clicking on Download
File that someone has emailed to me an attachment.
 
If you no longer have Office installed, you cannot expect anything on your
PC to open Office files.
You would need to download the free viewer from MS to view whatever office
docs.
If you have reverted to an earlier version of Office then likely you need to
repair that installation
