Hacked??

When I switch on my computer, i get a message saying "you or another program is trying to connect to the site viz.god....biz"
While shutting down, i get a message "other people are logged into your computer and may lose data if you shut down"
Also, my Norton has been detecting a remarkably high number of viruses. In the past two days, i have seen the "norton has detected and deleted xyz virus" most are fromthe w32 family.
At times, out of the blue, XP closes and and a blue screen appears saying something to the effect that and error has occured and windows was sjut down to avoid damage to any programs. _______ Server _ Less _ Equal
Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like you were hacked there buddy. I would
get a firewall, and you will probbly end up having to
reformat... what viruses did you notice that you have/had?

Enable your firewall, ASAP.
Then run a full AV scan with your AV software (update it first). Get a
second opinion at http://housecall.antivirus.com . Also scan for
malware/adware with AdAware, Spybot, and CWShredder. Check your event logs
for more info on the crash/BSOD.

At this point, tho, you may be better off just backing up your data and
doing a clean install of XP....don't connect to the Internet for even one
second without the XP or other firewall enabled.
