Guest Account still shows when off

One of my xp home PCs has a guest account that I can't
seem to get off the welcome screen. I originally had the
guest active and have two other logins. Guest works as
intended when it is on but when I turn it off via the
control panel user accts it remains on the welcome screen
and displays a password prompt when clicked. None of my
other xp home boxes have that problem. Sort of an
annoyance. Any ideas?
 
Make sure the check box to show the account on the Welcome Screen is
cleared.
