XP Pro Guest Account Not working

I have Recently reformated my IBM Netvista. I set up my Admin account
perfectly with no problems. I wanted to set up the guest account
incase someone wanted to use the computer. when i turn the guest
account on, and log off my admin account and try to sign on as guest,
it starts up and says "loading your personal settings" then right after
that it looks like it is about to sign on then it says "saving your
personal settings" and takes me back to the logon screen. I checked my
managed groups and found that when the Guest account was in the Guest
group only it did what i have mentioned above. when the Guest account
is in the Guest and the User group it allowed me to sign on as guest
but gave the guest account full reign to everything. Before i did all
that i took all names out of every group and added my asmin account as
needed, but left the guest account in the guest group where it was.
Any idea as to how i can get the guest account to work properly as in
having the restrictions as it should have?

The Guest account is not meant to be used when you are feeling hospitable.
It is a system account that allows someone without a user account on the
local machine to sit down at the machine and use it. For this reason, Guest
is usually disabled since it is a security hole.

Instead, make a new user account and call it "Visitors" or the like. You can
make it a Limited Account or, if you have XP Pro, use Group Policy to limit
what the Visitors account can do.
