I've just created a guest account for the people who hog
my computer, wanting to keep certain folders and programs
out of their reach. Everything else seems to work just
fine, except the Nero burner, which claims the guest
doesn't have the needed rights to use the burner. I've
tried to make the cd-rom drive as shared as i can, but it
doesn't seem to help at all.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Something similar happened to me. I went to administrative
tools in control panel, local security settings and
expanded Local Policies.

I looked in user rights and security options to see which
groups were allowed to do which things. I played around
with them without really taking notes - pretty sloppy I
know, and got it working.

My guess is that your problem is that by default only
administrators are allowed to "format and eject removable
media" in expanded Local Policies - Security Options

goto the nero site and download nero burn rights
it will enable burn rights for whichever accounts you wish

this is a feature not a bug with nero.
