Grouping on Start Menu

Hi,

Is it possible to group similar items together on the
Start Menu on Windows 2000?? I know this is an option on
XP but cannot see it in to earlier version?!

I've never seen things grouped on an XP start menu. You can create folders
in your start menu and organize your apps accordingly.

Sorry i didn't mean the start menu, i suppose a better
what to describe it would be the start bar (at the bottom
which contains the sys tray etc).

Ah, the ask bar. No, this is new to XP and not available in 2000.

Thanks Ray, I have a director who insists he was able to
group them last week (On Win2000) so can't work out what
he's talking about?!
