Option Groups: Can I Group the Buttons AND the Box They're In?

Hello, I am using Access 2013, which I just purchased. It's been
years since I've used any version of Access, and I'm really rusty with
it.

What I'm trying to do should be simple (I think), but I'll be darned
if I can get this to happen.

I've created two option groups, one with five radio buttons, and one
with three. Let's deal with the five-button group.

Quite simply, I want to group the buttons and the group's box all
together, so I can move them all around in one step. I figured out
how to group the buttons. (Arrange tab, Sizing and Positioning,
Size/Space.)

But I can't get the option group AND the box all grouped together. Is
that even possible? When I select the grouped buttons and the box,
the GROUP option is not available. Only the UNGROUP option is.

So, my question is: Can the option group and the box that contains it
be grouped together?

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Mipzork

If you can't grab the frame and move it around then yes they're not
grouped.

Did you start the using the Option Group control? It comes with a
wizard so you can enter the descriptions of each button. Then it
builds the option group from and buttons on the form.

If you want to add Option Buttons to the already built frame drag and
drop an Option Button onto the frame. The entire frame should turn
black so you can ensure you've selected the correct object.

Tony,

Thank you for replying. Yes, I did use the Wizard.

I'm wondering if there is a bug or design flaw in Access 2103. It's
probably me, though. When you use the Wizard, the radio buttons and
labels are supposed to be grouped. But they aren't grouped WITH the
box that contains them.

I'm wondering if I'm not explaining this well enough. It's not really
the option group that I'm concerned with. It's the BOX. I want the
option group grouped WITH the box, so EVERYTHING can move from one
place to another, and retain the formatting and organization that I
worked so hard to achieve.

This does NOT happen. I cannot get the box AND its contents grouped
together.

I'm not even sure if this is possible. If it isn't, then I'm
wondering why not.
