Group Policy restrictions??

I am trying to use gpedit.msc to apply some restrictions
to a User account on my pc. I am logged on as the
administrator. I just want to do basic things such as
forcing classic logon /start menu, disable access to some
features, etc... When I enable the settings, they work,
but they apply the setting to all accounts including the
admin account. How to I make these only affect the
User's group? Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated....
