Group or User's Name

XP Pro -- I am having some problems with my computer and
in looking at some folders, etc. I noted that in the
Group or User's name there is administrtor, my name etc
but then there is one labeled "System". I did not put
this in and do not why it is there. Can I safely remove
it is what I am asking and if not, what does it do?

Hi Roger,

I'm guessing that you're looking at the Security tab on the Properties
dialog box for the folders?

If so...System is listed automatically, because the operating system must
have access. You don't want to remove it.
