Group Mailbox

I have issues with outlook when adding a group mailbox to my profile
When I send an email on behalf of the group, the mail ends up in my personal sent item
When I delete an email from the group mailbox it ends up in my personal deleted items

Additionally I believe that if you have highlighted a group acconts "inbox" then by default a signature (other than your personal one) should be available. If you select "new mail" then it automatically knows it is from the group account and not your personal account

This causes alot of issues when you have multiple users sharing account

Any thoughts Microsoft? - I'm sure there is a way....

I believe this is WAD. To do what you want you have to create a new,
separate profile for the Group Mailbox.

clearly....it is a functional account already. Perhaps instead of "group" i should use "shared" mailbox. The accounts in question have AD accounts/Exchange mailboxes.

WAD????

I wasn't talking about the account (or rather: mailbox). Create a *new*
Outlook profile on a workstation, pointing to that "group" or "shared"
mailbox. Tell Outlook to prompt you for a profile at startup. Adding a
mailbox to a profile will not achieve what you seem to want. In this
regard, Outlook is ...
.... Working As Designed.

Take a look at UniSent (http://www.ivasoft.biz/unisent.html)
and RightFrom (http://www.ivasoft.biz/rightfrom.html) utilities.
