Group Header in Report

When my report prints, it sorts by a field in my group header (acending). Is
there a way to have it print my groups in the order of input? I tried to
remove the field and sort from the sorting and grouping window but it would
not let me just delete it.

Thanks.

If the order of input is a date/time field, try selecting that field first
in the sorting and grouping dialog.

The field in question is a text field. I actually do not want it sorted but
rather to print in my report in the order it was entered.

Thanks.

Access does not record the "order in which it was entered". That information
simply does not exist in Access, unless you yourself take steps to record it.
You can do so by using a sequential Autonumber field as the primary key field
of your table, or including a date/time field in the table with a default
value of Now(), and using that field to sort the records in your report.
