Sorting Groups in a Report

Hi,

I am working on a pipeline report that I have built in MS Access 2003. My
report is set up and pretty much ready to grow. I have my the information
that I need to display put into the groups that I need them to be "Final,
Viable and Developing, Sold and Lost." Unfortunately, the grouping function
only allows me to sort in either Acending or Descending order so it's coming
up "Developing, Final, Lost, Sold, Viable."

Is there a way to force the grouped information to be sorted by the order
described above?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, create a table with a Field for group names and another for group sort
order. Include it in the Query that is Record Source for your Report,
joined on the grouping name, but actually do your Sorting and Grouping in
the Report on "group sort order" in Ascending order. That will be a simple
way to do what you want.

Larry,

Thank you for the information, I guess my issue is that I don't want it in
Ascending Order.

The order that I am looking for is Final, Viable, Developing, Lost and Sold
(it would not work in Ascending order). Any way I can make that happen?
