Group e-mailing

How do you send an e-mail to a group (list of people) without the recipient's
names appearing on the e-mail? I have received numerous e-mails and the
recipiet's names appear as "undisclosed recipients"

Thank you for your help, however, if you put the list of people in BCC field
you still have to input each name individually each time. You can not create
a group list and then send it to all recipients.

message appears to the recipient as an individually sent personal message.
This feature is not natively supported in either Outlook or BCM. You have to
use the Microsoft List builder service @ bcentral to do this with BCM. Sadly,
many other Contact Managers have this feature built in but in contrast, BCM
does not.

I'm using Office 2003, and I think it's supposed to be capable using Mail
Merge, where you select the group and it will merge all email addresses and
info you choose, so that each email is as if it's personal to that user. Am
I wrong?

I ask if I'm wrong, because I had issues sending a customer email to 20,000
contacts (currently looking for info/troubleshooting info on this), but Word
2003 seemed to have started creating the merge correctly....

I think I have found an interesting work around to creating email lists.

1. Using the Marketing Campaign feature, create a campaign by the name of
the list you wish to create.

2. Use the Create a List feature and choose New List. This will bring up an
option to filter out your contacts. I have created user defined fields for
this purpose. Save the filter.

3. Each time you wish to send an email to a list, pull up the Marketing
campaigns and create the email in there. You'll need to open the New List
and then click Open Filter at the bottom to locate your filter.

The missing capability to send bcc email marketing campaigns is certainly one
of the really big shortfals of BCM so your advice is very interesting:
However, I mustt ask you: What is the Marketing Campaign feature you mention?
I can not find any meny for something like that in my BCM (SP 2) for office
2003?

The Bcc field and how many you can put in there is controlled by your ISP. It is one of the No Spam features implemented by ISP's
