Group Contacts and "Add to Outlook Contacts"

I've searched archives for this, and can't believe I'm the first to
have this problem.

I am doing some consulting work for a small (3 person) company. They
are using Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003. They do not want to keep any
personal contacts (in Outlook's sacred 'Contacts' folder), but want to
keep all of this info in a 'Shared Contacts' folder (located under
Public Folders).

That part is all setup and working fine. When they write a message and
click the 'To:' button, the shared contacts come up OK. If I go into
the address book options, the Shared Contacts is listed under "Keep
personal addresses in".

The problem is having an easy way to add people to the Shared Contacts
folder. With an open e-mail, right-clicking on the sender (for
instance) has the option to "Add to Outlook Contacts", but this adds
the contact to the personal Contacts folder, rather than the Shared
Contacts folder. Furthermore, if I instead choose "Look up Outlook
Contact", it still doesn't find the person in the Shared Contacts.

Is there an easy way to add a contact from an e-mail to the Shared
Contacts? The "look up" function would be a nice bonus, but not as
necessary.

I know the second part:

Right click the Contacts folder in the Public Folder and set it to Show as
an Outlook Address Book (at each user's PC) and then there are a few
functions that will work properly for that folder.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Already did that. That's why it searches that folder OK when I click
the "To:" button. It doesn't help when trying to see if you already
have that person in your address book.

Thanks anyway!

Right-click, choose Add to Contacts, then, instead of Save and Close, choose
File>Move to Folder and specify the public contacts folder.

That will work. Thank you!
