Grid lines

When opening a word doc. in Print view format, there are showing of grid
lines, could someone please tell me how to take them off. I looked in
options and found nothing there.

On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw > Grid and uncheck the box about
displaying the grid on screen.

Display the Drawing toolbar and select Draw | Grid. Clear the check box for
"Display gridlines on screen."
