Lines on Embeded Excel Spreadsheet

DS

I have an Excel 2003 file that looks and prints the way it should. When I
embed it into a Word 2003 doc ( Insert - Object ) and print, some of the grid
lines on the spreadsheet print thicker than others even though no changes
have been made to the .xls file. I need to have all lines print as they
appear when I print the spreasheet alone. Unfortuantely, I'm stuck on how to
make this happen. ANy help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Instead of inserting as an object, copy the part of the sheet you wish to
display to the clipboard, then use Paste Special > Bitmap and check the Link
box. Provided there is enough space between the margins, the representation
should be identical to how it appears in Excel and the link will ensure any
changes in the Excel file are retained.
