Graphs in Powerpoint

First let me admit this...I'm a novice. So are my co-workers but we could
really use some assistance at this point.

Every month we create training metrics using Powerpoint. We enter these
graphs on slides. In the near future we will be adding additional data to our
datasheet, however we cannot get that data to show up on the graph (at least
in the correct format)
For instance one graph is a combination of a bar graph and a line graph.
When I enter new data into the datasheet the data is placed on the graph as a
line. How can I convert this to an additional bar on the graph?

I think you right click just the 'line' and choose "chart type" then you can
choose 'bar' - to mix and match between line and bar charts on the same
graph
