Pattern Fills in Graphs in 2007

Using Office 2007 on Windows XP. I see that 2007 no longer has Pattern
Fills for graphs. Have you found a workaround? We file these images with
the patent office and they do not allow grey shading or colors in the
graphs. We must use pattern fills to distinguish the graph bars. What's to
be done now? I found a pattern fill addin on the Internet, but that only
works for shapes, not for graphs.
