Excel charts in powerpoint (Office 2007)

Guest

I have a excel template that I am putting data into with finished graph etc,
so all I have to do is put in the data and have a new graph. The problem is
I want to put each graph into a powerpoint presentation but when I insert new
data the copied graph in powerpoint also changes. Is there a way to paste
these graphs in powerpoint so they will stay as is regardless of the changes
I make to the graph in excel?
Thanks

Otyokwa,
It sounds like you are paste linking the Excel chart. When you paste in PPT
a tiny little icon should appear below the chart, it's called paste options,
when you click on it most probably the first radio button will be active
paste link, click on the radio button paste as a picture. That should insert
the chart as a picture which will not be updated.
